Volunteering with the BMFA
The fun that your Son or Daughter will experience as part of the Burlington Minor Football Association (BMFA) is delivered each year by a dedicated group of volunteers on the Board of Director's and many dedicated Coaches & Team Managers. In 2010 we will field 80 teams in our various programs from the ages of 6 to 20. Since 1966 there have been a collection of parents and supporters who have been willing to devote a tremendous amount of time and effort to produce one of the best minor football programs in the Canada!
We need your help!
If you are willing to step up as Coach, Assistant Coach for our Spring Flag League or our Fall House League we need as many coaches as possible.
We need Division Conveners as well, or if you just want to get involved for game day preparation or even want to sell some 50/50 Raffel Tickets that would be great!
We also run the Bingo in Burlington on Sunday mornings which is one of our biggest fund raisers - we need help here as well and it is quite fun.
We can also offer High School Students with their community volunteer credit hours as well for a variety of tasks such as being an apprentice referees or even managing the parking lot on Saturday mornings!
